Wounded Warrior Jerseys
Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College men's ice hockey team will be holding their annual Wounded Warrior game on Saturday, February 1st when the Soaring Eagles host Utica College during EC's Athletics Alumni Weekend. The Elmira skaters will wear special camouflage jerseys during the game to support the Wounded Warrior Project through the Hockey Helpers Campaign.
Similar to past years, the camouflage jerseys that the men wear will be available for purchase. However, this year, fans will also be able to pre-order jerseys in whichever number they would like for $125. Fans in attendance at the Utica game on February 1st can also place orders. All of the money raised through jersey orders will be donated back to the Wounded Warrior Project.
In addition to the camouflage jerseys, the EC men will also be selling Wounded Warrior t-shirts and sweatshirts during the Utica game. T-shirts are only $10 and sweatshirts are just $20.

About Hockey Helpers
The Hockey Helpers (HH) is a program that has been established to give NCAA hockey teams the opportunity to volunteer and give back through multiple service projects. HH, founded by Ryan Adler at Hobart College, collaborated with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) to bring attention and support to the veterans wounded during war.
About the Wounded Warrior Project
The WWP is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan, non-profit organization that exists to provide tangible comfort and support to the new generation of severely injured service members upon their return home from Iraq, Afghanistan, and other areas around the world. HH increases the visibility of the WWP program by wearing apparel with the WWP and HH logos while doing community service projects.
