Elmira, NY -- Elmira College men's basketball head coach,
Randie Torgalski, has announced the dates of two youth summer camps, both of which will take place on campus at Elmira College's Speidel Gymnasium. As was the case last summer, both sessions will take place in the month of July. The first session will take place from July 11-14
th, while the second session will be July 25-28
th. Sessions are open to boys and girls entering grades 1
st-8
th.
The daily schedule remains consistent to last year with the events stretching from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The morning sessions will focus mainly on skill development and group practice. Pick-up 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 games will be played ahead of lunch. The afternoon sessions will be centered around pick-up games and skill contests.
Campers will have the opportunity to learn valuable basketball skills in a relaxed environment. Various prizes will be awarded, while all campers will receive a free basketball, camp T-shirt, and game DVD. While for an extra five-dollars, campers also will receive a camp water bottle.
As was the case last year, lunch will not be provided, so a packed lunch is highly suggested. A limited camp store with Gatorade, water, and snacks will be available to purchase.
