Elmira College Athletics

2012 Season
Sasha played in all 36 contests for the Soaring Eagles during her final season registering 521 kills (which ranks sixth in EC single-season history), 389 digs, 68 assists, 47 aces and 43 total blocks. She led the team in kills and digs for the third time in her EC career while being awarded to the Empire 8 All-Conference First team and AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention accolades. In conference play she registered 113 kills averaging 4.04 kills per set, along with 97 digs, 13 aces and 11 total blocks. In 20 matches during the season she registered double digits in kills and digs with one of her best games coming on Nov. 10th against NYU in the ECAC Championship game. She will finish her career at EC ranking 10th in aces (165), third in digs (1,506) and second in kills (1,967).  

2011 Season
Appeared in all 36 matches and 133 sets in her third season in the Purple and Gold. Was named Empire 8 Player of the Year and received First Team All-Empire 8 accolades for the second consecutive year. She led the Soaring Eagles to the regular season Empire 8 title and a one seed in the Empire 8 Volleyball Championships. Was named an AVCA Honorable Mention All-American and a member of the AVCA All-Region First Team.  Averaged 4.5 kills per set and hit .340 in conference play as the Soaring Eagles won six of seven conference matches, while leading all players with 113 kills and added 55 digs in Empire 8 play. Tallied the eighth most kills in a single season in EC history (490) as well as eclipsing the 1,000 career dig mark as she currently ranks 10th in digs with 1,117. She also recorded double digit kills in 31 matches.
 
2010 Season
In her second season, Zavadska was the unanimous choice for Empire 8 Player of the Year and was a First Team All-Empire 8 honoree. She led the Soaring Eagles to a third seed in the Empire 8 Volleyball Championships and their first tournament bid since 2005. Was named to the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) All-Region First Team and was named to the 2010 AVCA Division III Third-Team All American Team. She finished an incredible season with the Soaring Eagles having played 134 sets in all 36 matches, averaging 4.23 kills per set and 2.64 digs per set. Posted a hitting percentage of .277 and was second on the team with 49 total blocks. Her 567 kills this season ranks fourth most in EC History and her 956 career kills currently places her at the 10 spot on Elmira’s All-Time list.

2009 Season
Had a breakout rookie season for the Soaring Eagles. She led the team in kills and digs with 389 and 413, respectively. Finished second in the Empire 8 Conference in kills per game (3.54). She was an Empire 8 Second Team All-Conference Selection and an AVCA Division III Honorable Mention All-American.
