Named Empire 8 All-Conference First Team Singles (11/5)…Won an 8-6 first doubles match in the Empire 8 Conference Semifinals (10/18)…Won a 6-1, 6-0 first round singles match and a 9-7 first round second doubles match in the NYS Women’s Tennis Championships (10/10)…Empire 8 Women’s Tennis Player of the Week (10/13)…Recorded a 6-2, 6-1 third singles win against Stevens Tech (10/5)…Tallied a 6-0, 6-0 third singles win in the 8-1 win over Nazareth College (10/4)…Tallied a 6-4, 6-1 third singles win in an 8-1 win over Alfred (9/23)…Produced a 6-1, 6-1 third singles win and an 7-1 second doubles win in an 8-1 win over Hartwick (9/21)…Posted a 6-1, 6-0 first singles win and an 8-0 first doubles win in a 9-0 win over Utica (9/14)…Named EC Athlete of the Week (9/8)…Posted a 6-0, 6-2 third singles win and an 8-6 second singles win in a 9-0 win over St. John Fisher (9/7)...Picked up a 6-2, 6-1 first singles win and an 8-0 second doubles win in a 9-0 win over Wells College (9/3).

2013-14 Season
Named ITA Scholar Athlete (7/11)…Picked up a first singles win 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 and a first doubles win 8-0 in the 8-1 win over Oswego State (3/28)… Earned Honorable Mention All-Conference in Singles (11/5)…Tallied a 7-6 (4), 6-2 win in the first singles flight at the New York State Women’s Tennis Championship(10/11)...Named Empire 8 Tennis Player of the Week (9/30)…Named EC Athlete of the Week (9/30)…Picked up a first singles win 5-7, 6-3, 10-7 in the first round of the USTA-ITA Northeast Regional Championships (9/28)…Posted a first singles win 6-4, 6-2 and a first doubles win 8-6 in a 9-0 win over Alfred (9/24)...Tallied a first singles win in 6-2, 6-2 and a first doubles win 8-4 in a 8-1 victory over Hartwick (9/23)...Notched in a first singles in 6-1, 6-1 and a first double win 8-0 in a 9-0 victory over Houghton (9/18)...Posted a first singles win 6-1, 6-1 and a first doubles win 8-5 in a 9-0 win over Utica (9/14).

2012 Season
Had a great year in singles for the Purple and Gold wining five matches at the first singles position. Went 3-3 in conference play and earned Empire 8 All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades. She picked up huge conference wins against St. John Fisher College and Alfred University. 

2011 Season
Amy won 6 matches at the second singles position during her first year as a Soaring Eagle. In doubles, she won seven matches with her partner Melanie Walker at the second doubles position. Schmidt was also awarded MVP for Women’s Tennis.

Secondary School
Five-time member of the Monroe County All-League First Team. Was named team MVP and a state qualifier during two seasons. Section V finalist in team and individual tennis sectionals. Coaches Association Female Athlete of the Year in 2011.
 
Personal
Amy is an Political Science and International Studies major with a concentration in World Politics and minors in Spanish. She is also a Presidential Scholar and a Gold Key member.
