2019-20 Season
Appeared in five contests as a sophomore…Scored a bucket and added three rebounds against Ithaca (11/16)…Played a season-high 13 minutes against Amherst (11/22).

2018-19 Season
Appeared in 21 games, second-most among EC freshmen, and made four starts...Three of his seven field goals came from 3-point range...Scored a season-best five points in 10 minutes of action in his collegiate debut, a 94-69 win over Penn College (11/13)...Earned his first career start, scored three points and pulled down two rebounds against Rochester (11/24)...Grabbed a season-best three rebounds and added two points against E8 foe Hartwick (1/18).

Before Elmira
Played basketball and volleyball at Wethersfield High School in Wethersfield, Connecticut...Helped Wetherfield reach the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) state championship tournament...Earned All-Conference and All-State honors for volleyball...Was an All-Academic Team recipient for both sports.

Personal
Matt is a double-major in Economics and Finance. He joins his older brother, Joseph Amoddio '21, as a member of the Elmira College men's basketball and volleyball teams.
