2012-13 Season
She made 20 starts and 24 game appearances for EC this season. She recorded 108 rebounds, 42 steals, 38 assists and nine blocks during her second season. She averaged 6.5 points per game, 4.5 rebounds per game and 1.6 assists per game. She recorded her second career double-double on Feb. 16th against Utica College registering 12 points and 12 boards.
2011-12 Season
Alex started and appeared in every game during her rookie year as a Soaring Eagle. She led the team in defensive rebounds (89), assists (49), and steals (66), while finishing with the second highest minutes played (728, 29.1 per game) and free throw percentage (.833). Balara also recorded third best numbers in field goals made (71), three-pointers (23), free throws (30), total rebounds (105), blocks (6), and points (195). She has put herself into two categories on the all-time records list for EC Women’s Basketball for her free throw percentage this season and her .833 percentage placed her ninth for season percentages.
