Where We Sit: EC is currently 7-13 overall and 2-7 in Empire 8 play, good for seventh place in the conference standings.
Who’s Hot: Jessica Zoltowski ’14 currently ranks second in the conference in scoring (16.0 PPG) and sixth in rebounding (7.4 RPG). The junior currently has 978 career points and needs just 22 more to become the fourth 1,000 point scorer in EC Women’s Basketball history.
Scouting Alfred: Alfred enters tonight’s contest 6-14 overall and 0-10 in conference play after downing Houghton, 61-59, in thrilling fashion Friday evening. Sophomore Harley Clearly drained a shot as time expired for the win. Clearly leads the Saxons as the only scorer in double digits, averaging 14.3 per outing.
Looking Ahead: The Soaring Eagles hit the road for a conference weekend as they take on Stevens Friday at 6:00 p.m. and Hartwick Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
