The Soaring Eagles, who were held to just three hits on the afternoon, received a solid pitching performance from MaryAnn Sobel '25 against the Fighting Squirrels in game one as the sophomore went 6.0 innings, allowing just a pair of runs (one earned), on five hits while inducing 11 ground balls for outs.
