- The first half would see the Soaring Eagles with a 2-1 lead, netted by Luka Tatanashvili '29 and Miguel Robio '27 off a penalty kick.
- The Pioneers found themselves with a trio of goals in the second half, outshooting the Soaring Eagles 15-1.
- EC goalkeeper Ladas '28 was forced the make eight saves in net off the Pioneers 19 shots.
