43rd Annual Athletics Alumni Weekend
Dates: January 30-31, 2026

Elmira College Athletics is excited to welcome alumni, fans, and friends back to campus for Athletics Alumni Weekend, taking place Friday, January 30, and Saturday, January 31. The weekend will feature a packed schedule of athletic contests, alumni games, and special events celebrating the Soaring Eagles community. Registration is requested, as it will be your ticket into Alumni Hospitality events, as well as free admission to ice hockey games. 

Friday, January 30

• Women’s Basketball vs. Alfred University – 5:30 p.m., Speidel Gymnasium
• Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Albertus Magnus – 7:00 p.m., Murray Athletic Center
• Men’s Basketball vs. Alfred University – 7:30 p.m., Speidel Gymnasium

Saturday, January 31

Saturday’s events begin bright and early with several alumni gatherings and games celebrating former student-athletes:

• Women’s Volleyball Alumni Game – 10:00 a.m., Speidel Gymnasium
• Men’s Basketball Alumni Game – 11:00 a.m., Speidel Gymnasium
  • Alumni Hospitality in Hall Seminar Room (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
• Ice Hockey Alumni Game – 10:30 a.m., Murray Athletic Center
  • Hospitality available outside locker rooms and coffee and donuts on the mezzanine

An Indoor Reception will take place from 2:30–4:00 p.m. in the Hall Seminar Room (Emerson Hall), featuring pizza, drinks, and a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni between basketball games.

The varsity action continues into the afternoon:

• Women’s Basketball vs. Houghton – 2:00 p.m., Speidel Gymnasium
• Women’s Ice Hockey vs. Albertus Magnus – 3:00 p.m., Murray Athletic Center
• Men’s Basketball vs. Houghton – 4:00 p.m., Speidel Gymnasium
  • The Doc Murdock '80 Eagles' Nest Dedication Ceremony (Halftime)

Cap off the day with two evening highlights:

• Alumni “Indoor Tailgate” Event – 5:00–7:00 p.m., MAC Hockey Dome
• Men’s Ice Hockey vs. Nazareth – 7:00 p.m., Murray Athletic Center
