Elmira, N.Y. – Entering her fourth season as the head coach of the Elmira College Field Hockey team, Jess Galatioto has announced the 2026 Soaring Eagles schedule. This year's slate features nine home contests at Campus Field and nine road games, including nine Empire 8 Conference matchups.

EC opens the 2026 campaign with a home, non-conference matchup against SUNY Oswego on Wednesday, September 2. The Soaring Eagles then hit the road for four consecutive contests, traveling to SUNY Morrisville on September 5, Roberts Wesleyan University on September 9, Cedar Crest College on September 12, and SUNY Oneonta on September 16.

Empire 8 Conference play begins on September 19, as the Soaring Eagles travel to face Keuka College. They then return to Campus Field for their conference home opener against SUNY Brockport on September 23 before making the trip to Utica University on September 26.

Elmira closes out the month by hosting Keystone College in a non-conference matchup on September 30 and open October with a road conference contest at Nazareth University on the 3rd.

The Soaring Eagles return home for back-to-back Empire 8 matchups against Hartwick College on October 7 and St. John Fisher University on October 10. Following a road contest at Russell Sage College on October 14, Elmira hosts Manhattanville University on October 17 in the team's Senior Game before welcoming alumni back to Campus Field later that evening for the program's annual Alumni Game.

The Purple & Gold continue their homestand against Houghton University on October 21 before traveling to SUNY Geneseo on October 24. Elmira closes the regular season at Campus Field on October 28 with a conference matchup against Alfred University.

The 2026 Empire 8 Championship is scheduled for early November, with tournament dates and host sites to be announced by the conference at a later date.
