Elmira, N.Y. – Entering his first season as the head coach of the Elmira College Women's Volleyball team, Eddie Daoreuang has announced the 2026 Soaring Eagles schedule. This year's slate features 29 matches, including 12 home contests inside Speidel Gymnasium and ten Empire 8 Conference matches.

The Soaring Eagles open the 2026 campaign on the road at Marywood University on Tuesday, September 1, before returning home to host the Elmira College Invitational. EC welcomes Geneva College on Friday, September 4, before taking on New England College and Gallaudet University on Saturday, September 5.

The Purple & Gold continue tournament play at the Spirit of Service Volleyball Classic, traveling to La Plume, Pennsylvania, for matches against Keystone College on September 11, followed by the University of Mount Saint Vincent and Wilmington College on September 12. EC remains on the road the following weekend, opening with Gwynedd Mercy University on September 18 before competing in the UVF Tri-Match against the University of Valley Forge and Bryn Mawr College on September 19.

EC returns to Speidel Gymnasium on Wednesday, September 23, to host Penn College before closing out non-conference play with the Wilkes Tri-Match on September 26 against Wilkes University and The City College of New York. The Soaring Eagles then travel to Penn State Scranton on September 29 before opening Empire 8 Conference play.

Conference action begins with three consecutive home matches as Elmira hosts Utica University on October 2, SUNY Polytechnic Institute on October 3, and Keuka College on October 6. After a road match at SUNY Brockport on October 9, the Soaring Eagles return home to face SUNY Geneseo on October 10 before traveling to Houghton University on October 16.

Elmira hosts Alfred University on October 17 followed by a non-conference matchup with Penn State Scranton on October 20. EC returns to conference play, welcoming St. John Fisher University for the final home match of the regular season on October 23. The Soaring Eagles conclude the regular season with three straight Empire 8 road contests, traveling to Nazareth University on October 24, Hartwick College on October 30, and Russell Sage College on October 31.

The E8 conference tournament is set to begin November 7 with the championship match set for November 14.
