2022 Season
Appeared a career-best 20 matches, totaling 72 sets played…notched her first career kill in Elmira’s win over Mt. St. Mary (NY) on September 3…finished the season with 187 digs, 33 set assists, 20 service aces, and 22.0 total points…recorded a season-best 27 digs in Elmira’s five-set loss to Medaille (Sept. 30).

2021 Season
Appeared in seven matches as a junior for the Soaring Eagles...Recorded five digs and one assist against Keystone in a victory at home (9/3)...Notched four digs and one assist on the road against Wells (9/29)...Delivered a season-high six digs against SUNY Canton (9/18) and Russell Sage (10/23).

2020 Season
Played in three matches as a sophomore for Elmira...Recorded seven digs and one service ace in a win on the road against Alfred (4/10)...Tallied three digs and one assist in a win on the road against Russell Sage (3/27).

2019 Season
Appeared in 12 matches as a rookie…Ended the season with 30 digs…Made her collegiate debut against Mt. Saint Mary and posted five digs in a 3-1 win (8/31)…Registered a season-high seven digs and added an assist in a four-set victory over Penn College (10/5)…Added five digs in a five-set triumph over Baruch (11/2).

Before Elmira
Played volleyball for Head Coach Joe Brainard at Liverpool High School in Liverpool, New York...Was teammates with fellow Soaring Eagle Delaney Johnson '23.

Gianna is a Pre-Health major with a concentration in Physical Therapy.
