2018-19 Season
Competed in all eight races in a record-setting freshman campaign...Set a new program record with a 5K time of 17:54.00 at the Houghton Twilight Invite (8/31)...Broke the program's 6,000-meter record at the Alfred University Short Meet (9/8), clocking in at 21:20.20...Earned a season-best eighth-place finish at the Cross Country Only Conference (CCOC) Championships (10/13), running the 8K in 28:27.80.

Before Elmira
Was a three-year member of the cross country team at Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, while also lettering in track & field and volleyball…Was the top finisher for VVS at the 2017 Class A New York State Championship, earning a 42nd place finish in the 5K with a time of 18:02.50…Was recognized as a 2017-18 All-Mohawk Valley All-Star.

Personal
Owen is a Political Science and History double-major. His older brother, Alex Rose ’15, was a former standout on the EC men’s volleyball team.
