Elmira College Athletics

Mark Ryan ’21 completed his second season as Co-Head Men's Golf Coach during the 2023-24 season and begins his fourth year as the Assistant Coach for the Soaring Eagles baseball program in 2024-25. Ryan spent one season as a student-athlete on the Soaring Eagle golf team in 2020-21 and was also a four-year member of the Elmira College baseball program. 

During his playing career, Ryan was a captain on the baseball team, appearing in 66 games while posting a .229 batting average. During the 2019 season, Ryan hit .261 and posted an on-base percentage of .337. 

Before Elmira, Ryan attended Union Endicott Central School District in which he lettered in baseball and golf. He graduated from Elmira in the spring of 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance. He is currently working on attaining his master's degree in Education from Elmira.
