Zakk Rolfe enters his first season with the Soaring Eagles men’s wrestling team in the 2021-22 academic year. Coaching since 2013, Rolfe began his career at Elmira High School as a volunteer and moved into the assistant varsity wrestling coach position during the 2015 season. Rolfe played and vital part in helping Elmira win their first Section IV title in school history, as well as becoming the first school to ever represent section IV at the NYS Dual Championships.
In 2018, Rolfe moved to Corning, New York where he coached the high school team to the #1 seed at the Section IV Dual meet Championships, where they finished with 4 NYS Qualifiers in his first season.
Since 2013, Rolfe has coached 63 State Qualifiers, 26 State place finishers, 2 NYS Champions, and 2 NCAA D3 All American wrestlers. Rolfe has sent 16 athletes to go on to compete at the college level including two Division-I Athletes.
In 2015, Rolfe started Armspin Army Wrestling Club (AAWC) out of Elmira, New York. In 2019 AAWC finished a top 24 club in the country at the VA Beach National Duals.
