Troy Gordon '15 enters his first season as the Associate Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at Elmira College in 2020-21.
No stranger to Elmira, Gordon graduated from EC in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Gordon spent two years as a marketing associate with Dandy Mini Marts following his graduation, before returning to the College in 2017 to work as an Admissions Counselor. While in the Elmira admissions office, Gordon acted as a regional recruiter and the main liaison with the Department of Athletics.
Gordon has previously served on the Board of Directors at Towanda Country Club, located in his hometown of Towanda, Pennsylvania, helping to oversee golf operations for the club.
During his time as a student-athlete at Elmira, Gordon was a three-year member of the men’s golf team. A consistent performer for the Soaring Eagles, Gordon pieced together a solid senior season with an average score versus par of 83.40. Gordon helped EC secure 14 top-five finishes during the 2014-15 season, including wins at the Utica Fall Invitational and the Elmira Fall Invitational.
