Larson is a 2011 graduate from the American International College in Massachusetts where she was a starting defender, leading the Yellow Jackets to their first Northeast-10 Championship Tournament in 10 years. Prior to her two years at AIC, Larson competed at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she started at defense both years, and was promoted to team captain in her second season.
