Schmidt was one of just two women's tennis players to go a perfect 4-0 this week as EC rolled to a pair of 9-0 victories over Wells College and St. John Fisher College. Schmidt picked-up an 8-0 win at second doubles with Kristi Chanda '17 and added a 6-2, 6-1 victory at first singles against Wells. Then against the Cardinals, Schmidt earned another win at second doubles, this time with Rebecca Zeuschner '18 as her partner, and rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 victory at third singles.
Schmidt and the women's tennis team have their first test of the season on Wednesday, September 10th when EC hosts nine-time defending Empire 8 Champions Ithaca College. The match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at the Murray Athletic Center.
