Ellison helped the men's volleyball go 1-2 at the Juniata Tournament with both losses coming to teams ranked in the Top-15. Ellison totaled 49 kills, four service aces, 21 digs, and six blocks in the three matches over the weekend, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team for his efforts.
EC dropped their opening match to No. 1 Juniata College, 3-0, with Ellison posting a team-high 11 kills while also chipping-in two service aces, three digs, and three block assists. Elmira suffered their second five-set defeat to a Top-15 opponent this season as they fell to No. 13 Baruch College 21-19 in the fifth set of Saturday's match. Ellison posted a stat-line of 17 kills, one service ace, 12 digs, and one block assist. Then, to close out the weekend, Ellison paved the way with 21 kills in the Purple and Gold's 3-1 victory over Thiel College.
Ellison and the men's volleyball team travel Greenville, PA this weekend to compete in the Thiel College Tournament. EC opens the tournament on Saturday, January 31st against Penn State Altoona at 1:30 p.m.
