Hogan's play was also a key for the Purple and Gold. Despite totaling just three points on the weekend, each one of her points came at a critical time in the games. Hogan's lone point in Saturdays' win, an assist, came on Cassidy Delainey's game-winning power-play goal in the third period. Then, in game two, Hogan scored two goals, both of which were shorthanded, to increase her season goal total to 25. Each of her goals, one in the second period and then one in the third, pushed Elmira's lead to two goals and shifted the momentum back in EC's favor. With her performance on Sunday, Hogan moved into a tie for fourth in Elmira College single-season history with 25 goals scored and into first place on the single-season list with five shorthanded goals scored.
