Brooks had a career game for the Soaring Eagles in a 61-58 win against Alfred on Tuesday. The freshman finished with nine points and three rebounds in the victory, both of which established new career highs. Coming into Tuesday's contest the Greene, NY native had eight points and two rebounds on the season in seven games. She surpassed those outputs against Alfred despite playing just six minutes in the contest.
 
In the opening half against Alfred, Brooks tallied seven points shooting 2-for-2 from the field, draining her only three-point attempt and making both of her free throws in just three minutes of play. Her other basket came with 18 seconds left in the game where she corralled an offensive rebound and converted a lay-in to give Elmira a three-point lead at the time. In her other game this week Brooks hauled in one rebound in just three minutes of action against Stevens.

The Women’s Basketball team returns to action Friday when it travels to take on Nazareth College beginning at 6:00 p.m. The Soaring Eagles return home Saturday for a 2:00 p.m. tilt with Utica College.
