ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Elmira College cheerleading, winners of two National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College National Championships, has announced that it will host a five-day cheer camp at Speidel Gymnasium on July 15-19. The camp is available for those in grades K-12th and will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.
 
The camp registration fee is $150 per camper, but those who wish to sign up siblings will have the ability to register at a discounted price by contacting head cheerleading coach Amber Myers (amyers@elmira.edu). Those in attendance will receive a free cheer bow, t-shirt and access to arts and crafts each day. Additionally, at the conclusion of the five-day camp, there will be an awards ceremony to recognize the accomplishments and improvements by those in attendance.  
 
No previous cheerleading experience is required, as campers will receive instruction and guidance from the Elmira College cheerleading coaching staff, as well as members of the nationally-ranked cheerleading team.
