BOSTON, Mass. – Elmira women's soccer traveled to Boston for a matchup with UMass Boston on Saturday morning. After conceding an early goal, the Soaring Eagles could not get themselves back into the game and fell by a final score of 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UMass Boston's first goal came early, netting the opener in the third minute of the game.
- Its second goal came in the 21st minute off a deflected save from goalkeeper Nevaeh Winston '25, putting the Beacons up 2-0 in the first quarter of the match.
- No other goals came in the first half and Elmira trailed by two entering the break.
- Tierney Krawczyk '27 tested the Beacon keeper in the 70th minute, forcing a save on a diving stop.
- The Soaring Eagles could not find a goal of their own and the game ended in a 2-0 defeat.
- Krawczyk registered two out of Elmira's three shots in the game while putting one on target. Emily Andersen '26 had EC's other attempt.
- Winston saved eight shots in the game.
