HORSEHEADS, NY - The Elmira College Soaring Eagles suffered a weekend sweep at the hands of the St. John Fisher University Cardinals with Sunday's 10-1 loss at Holding Point. EC now drops to 0-3 in conference play following the weekend's series.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Elmira College baseball team struggled offensively against Fisher, mustering just three hits in a 10-1 loss at home.
Fisher took an early lead, scoring in the first inning on a wild pitch. Elmira responded in the second when AJ Ramirez '27 reached on an error, allowing Brady Buttice '26 to score.
Elmira's offense never found a rhythm, despite Brett Warden '25 collecting a pair of hits on the day.
On the mound, Logan Pizzullo '25 (1-2) took the loss after allowing five runs (two earned) over four innings. Michael Polsinelli '28 surrendered five runs in relief, while Erik Berkan '27 finished the game with two scoreless innings.

Elmira will look to rebound in their next matchup at home against Penn State Altoona on Wednesday, Mar. 26. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for 1:00 P.M.
