Elmira, N.Y. - Entering his second season at the helm, Denis Tobin announces the 2026-27 Men's Basketball schedule. The Soaring Eagles will host 12 home games this season inside Speidel Gymnasium on Pat Thompson '75 Court.

Elmira begins the season at the Waynesburg Tip-Off Tournament on November 6-7 for a pair of contests. The Tip-Off Tournament will feature a matchup with Waynesburg on November 6, followed by a matchup with Misericordia or Otterbein. They will then return home for an exhibition at NCAA Division I, Le Moyne College on November 9th. 

The Soaring Eagles open their home schedule against SUNY Cobleskill on November 11th before opening Empire 8 play at Hilbert on the 14th. The Purple & Gold will return home on November 18th to host Alfred State before hitting the road to Penn State Brandywine on November 21st. 

EC returns to their home court on December 5th, as they host Saint Elizabeth University before traveling to Penn College on the 12th to close out the 2026 portion of the schedule.

Elmira soars into the new year with a home match-up against Fredonia on January 2nd before heading to Hartwick on January 5th. They continue their travels to Utica University and SUNY Polytechnic Institute on January 8th and 9th, then head home to host Russell Sage on the 12th. 

EC continues conference play with a pair of home match-ups, hosting Alfred University on the 15th and Houghton on the 16th. The Soaring Eagles return to the road to face St. John Fisher on January 22nd to which they turn around and host Nazareth University the next day, January 23rd. 

The Purple & Gold remain home for a midweek conference contest against Keuka on the 26th followed by another pair of home matches against Utica University and SUNY Poly on January 29th and 30th. 

February opens with a road trip to Alfred University and Houghton University on the 5th-6th. The Soaring Eagles then travel to SUNY Geneseo on February 12th before returning home to face SUNY Brockport in Speidel Gymnasium on the 13th. EC closes the regular season on the road at Keuka on February 16th.
