Biography
2012-13 Season
She finished her career playing in 10 matches for the Soaring Eagles primarily at the first doubles and second singles positions. She will finish her career with 10 singles wins, 12 doubles wins and 22 overall wins placing her 10th on the all-time wins list.
2011 Season
Melanie had six wins at the third singles position, including a three-set victory over Keuka College’s Sarah Scneider. She also collected seven wins at second doubles with her partner Amy Schmidt.
2010 Season
Won two matches at fifth singles and one other at fourth singles, and came out victorious in one match at second doubles... Notched the decisive win in a three-set thriller at fourth singles to give the Purple and Gold a 5-4 win Oct. 13
th at Oswego.
2009 Season
Saw action at third doubles during her first season with the Soaring Eagles.
Secondary School
Was named captain in varsity tennis, was a district qualifier, and member of National Honor Society.
Personal
Melanie is an Elementary Education major with a concentration in Social Studies as well as a Trustee scholar.
