Kelly finished with two assists in a 1-1 week for the Women’s Soccer team in non-conference action against SUNY Fredonia and Daemen College. On Tuesday less than two minutes after Fredonia took the lead 1-0 Kelly took the ball down the right sideline and fed a cross in to classmate and secondary school teammate Janine Swanson ’14 (Rochester, NY -- Nazareth Academy) who tied the game at one all.

On Saturday Kelly tallied the assist on an important insurance goal in a 2-0 EC victory over Daemen College. The junior had an initial shot on net that was saved and rebounded right to Emily Karpinski ’14 (Freehold, NJ -- Red Bank Catholic) who scored.

The Women’s Soccer team currently sits at 4-7-1 overall but more importantly is in prime position in the conference standings to make a push for postseason play at 2-2-0. The Soaring Eagle are sixth in the E8 standings, but just half a game out of the fourth and final playoff spot.
