Shade had a tremendous week averaging 3.24 digs per set for the Soaring Eagles as the team picked up two wins. The junior tallied 55 digs over 17 sets and had two matches with 16 or more digs. His standout match of the week came Sunday against No. 12 Stevenson where he registered a career and match-high 18 digs with just one reception error in a three set loss.

He followed that performance up with a match-high 16 digs against Emmanuel. The West Irondequoit, NY native also finished with five assists on the week. Shade currently has 160 digs this season in 64 sets good for an average of 2.5 per frame.

The Men’s Volleyball team returns to action Wednesday when it travels to Hamburg, NY to take on Hilbert College at 7:00 p.m.
