Elmira College Athletics

Spoljaric had a big week for Elmira scoring eight points on seven goals and an assist. The freshman came up huge in Elmira's first conference victory of the season against Hartwick. She tallied six goals and added an assist as the Soaring Eagles upended visiting Hartwick, 13-10.

She opened the game scoring the contest's first two goals. With EC trailing 10-8, Spoljaric led the team to five unanswered goals as she found the back of the net twice, including the eventual game-winner. She finished the week with a 79 shot on goal percentage including an 83 percent mark in conference play.

The Women’s Lacrosse team returns to action Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when it travels to take on Alfred University in Empire 8 action.
