Murray Athletic Center (Ice Arena)
The Ice Arena is the home location for our nationally recognized men’s and women’s ice hockey programs. A large community and student following make men’s and women’s ice hockey games a destination during the winter months in Elmira. The men’s ice hockey team has called the Murray Athletic Center home since 1973 while the women’s ice hockey team has played its games in the Ice Arena since its inaugural season in 2001. Our men’s hockey program has produced 24 NCAA All-Americans, won nine ECAC West Championships, and captured the UCHC crown during the 2021 season.
Our women’s hockey program has been widely successful in its first 20 years of existence, producing 15 All-Americans, winning seven ECAC West Championships, four consecutive UCHC championships, and have brought home three NCAA Division III National Championships (2003, 2004, 2013).
