Campus Field
Campus Field serves as the home for Elmira's men's and women's soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, and the Chuck Lawnsays. One of the best playing surfaces in the region, Elmira's turf field, finalized in August 2024, has bleacher seating and a brand-new press box on the eastern side of the field, adjacent to Elmira College's Gannett-Tripp Library.
Prior to the summer of 2024, the field was a natural grass playing surface. Throughout the week students can be found playing ultimate frisbee, flag football, or pick-up soccer amongst other activities on the field. The project offers recreational and intramural opportunities and is a short walk for everyone on campus. Check out our Chuck Lawnsays sports page for more details on recreation sport.
The final game on the grass field was the Elmira Men’s Soccer team’s conference championship win over St. John Fisher to close out the 2023-24 year.
