Pittsford, NY – EC Women's Soccer dropped a 3-0 decision to the Cardinals of St. John Fisher College today. The Soaring Eagles were unable to generate enough offense to keep up with Cardinals as they were out-shot 6-to-17. With the loss EC's record falls to 2-10-1.
Elmira allowed two first half goals, one at the 27:11 mark and another with just 1:31 remaining in the half. Fisher would maintain the 2-0 lead going into halftime. The second half would be much like the first as Fisher would put in another score at the 59:11 mark. Third year keeper Karissa Wilson '12 (Londonderry, NH -- Londonderry) got the start today as she register 8 saves in 90 minutes of play.
Women's Soccer will be back in action as they host the Pioneers of Utica College on an Empire 8 showdown on Wednesday, October 20th at 4:00 p.m. at Campus Field in Elmira, NY.
