Aston, PA – EC Women's Hockey took on the Knights of Neumann University in an ECAC West Conference battle. The Soaring Eagles were coming off an exciting 3-2 OT win over the Knights on Friday and were looking to make it two in a row today.
Neumann would strike first as they scored the game's opening goal at the 7:20 mark in the first period. With the period coming to a close
Tori Charron '14 (Goodwood, ONT -- Aurora Panthers, PWHL) would tie the game up at one a piece with just twenty-five seconds remaining on a power-play opportunity.
Tanis Lamoureux '14 (Canton, MI -- Victory Honda, TOEHL) and
Katy Walker '12 (Edmonds, WA -- Colorado Select, JWHL) earned assists on the goal.
Lamoureux would give EC a 2-1 advantage as she scored a power-play goal just 4:33 into the second period. First year Soaring Eagle
Lauren Campbell '12 (Erie, PA -- Chatham University) tallied an assist on the go-ahead goal. Neumann would go on to score the eventual game-tying goal late in the second period. Neither team would produce another goal in the third period or in overtime, resulting in a 2-2 OT tie.

Lauren Sullivan '13 (Toronto, ONT -- Markham-Stouffville Stars, PWHL) made 27 saves in today's contest as her record now stands at 10-4-2. EC Women's Ice Hockey will look for a pair of wins next weekend as they host Chatham University in back-to-back games on the 29th and 30th. Face-off on Saturday the 29th is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
