Last Time Out
The Soaring Eagles fell, 6-1, to host No. 6 Hobart Saturday evening in the regular season finale for both teams.

Where We Sit
Elmira (10-15, 5-10 ECAC West) is the five seed in the conference playoffs. They travel to the No. 4 seed Manhattanville for a first round ECAC West playoff game tonight. Elmira is led by 20+ point scorers Josh Burnell '15 (24 P, 8 G, 16A) and Michael Collins '16 (22P, 8G, 14A).

Who's Hot
Andrew Ciampichini '15
scored a goal just 43 seconds into the contest Saturday giving EC a 1-0 lead. However, that would be Elmira's only score of the night.

Scouting Manhattanville
The Valiants (13-9-3, 6-6-3 ECAC West) are the five seed in the playoffs and have four different players who have tallied 24 or more points this season. Scott Hudson (27P, 11G, 16A) leads the attack, while Luc Van Natter (24P, 10G, 14A), Matt Coleman (24P, 9G, 15A) and Mark Rivera (24P, 8G, 16A) have the potential to break loose at any point.

Playoff History
Elmira and Manhattanville have met seven times in the conference tournament. The Valiants have a 4-3 edge in all-time meetings. After Elmira took four straight, Manhattanville has taken the last three postseason contests between the two schools, including a 4-3 (OT) win to capture the ECAC West Tournament championship the last time the teams met in the playoffs on March 6, 2010.

Head-to-Head This Season
This season the Valiants have had the Soaring Eagles' number, as Manhattanville swept the season series with Elmira for the first time ever. The Valiants took a pair of games in Pine Valley during the first semester, posting a 5-2 win and a 7-5 victory. Last Tuesday, Manhattanville completed the sweep with a 5-1 win that featured a 46-26 edge in shots. Elmira will look to break the Valiants three-game playoff winning streak against EC tonight.

What's Next?
The winner of tonight's game will advance to the semifinal round of the ECAC West Tournament, which will take place on Saturday at Utica and Hobart. The top-seeded Pioneers will host the lowest remaining seed at the Utica Memorial Auditorium beginning at 7 p.m., while the second-seeded Statesmen will welcome the highest remaining seed to the Geneva Recreation Center for a 7:30 p.m. start.
