Elmira, NY -- Coming off a thrilling 3-2 overtime win against Empire 8 Conference foe Houghton College, the Elmira College field hockey team is preparing to play their final game of the year against the University of Rochester at 6:00 p.m. tonight.
Gilbert Saves The Day, AgainAlli Gilbert '16 tallied her first hat-trick since October 21st, 2013 to lift the Soaring Eagles over Houghton College last weekend. Her third goal of the game was scored just 52 seconds into the overtime period, giving her two game-winning goals this season. Her first game-winner came in Elmira's 1-0 overtime win against Wells College on September 16th.
