Oswego State enters today's contest on a six-game winning streak in the series, which follows a four-game winning streak, from 2004 to 2007, for the Soaring Eagles.
Oswego State vs. The Empire 8Including today's matchup with EC, Oswego State has gone up against five of the nine Empire 8 Conference member institutions. The Lakers hold a 2-1 record against E8 opponents, not including Tuesday night's result against St. John Fisher College. Oswego State's only loss, a 4-0 decision, was dealt by Ithaca College, but the Lakers defeated both Nazareth College and Houghton College, 4-3 in overtime and 2-1, respectively.
Looking AheadEC concludes its four-game homestand with a pair of Empire 8 Conference games this weekend. The Soaring Eagles take on Stevens Institute of Technology at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11th then follow up with Hartwick College on Sunday, October 12th, also at 1:00 p.m.
