Oswego State enters today's contest on a six-game winning streak in the series, which follows a four-game winning streak, from 2004 to 2007, for the Soaring Eagles.
Oswego State vs. The Empire 8Including today's matchup with EC, Oswego State has gone up against five of the nine Empire 8 Conference member institutions. The Lakers hold a 2-1 record against E8 opponents, not including Tuesday night's result against St. John Fisher College. Oswego State's only loss, a 4-0 decision, was dealt by Ithaca College, but the Lakers defeated both Nazareth College and Houghton College, 4-3 in overtime and 2-1, respectively.
