Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College women's soccer team will embark on their first postseason appearance since 2005 when they travel to Pomona, NJ to take on Richard Stockton College. Kick-off for the ECAC Metro-Upstate Tournament Quarterfinal contest is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12th at 5:30 p.m.
Not Since 2005Elmira's selection to the ECAC Metro-Upstate Tournament marks the first postseason appearance for the Soaring Eagles since the 2005 Empire 8 Tournament. The last time that EC competed in an ECAC Tournament was in 2004, when they lost in the quarterfinal round to Plattsburgh State.

Melanie English '15, who led the Soaring Eagles defense to its best scoring average in over 12 years, received a Second Team selection while
Mackenzie Donohue '15, who set career-highs with 10 points, four goals, and two assists, and EC's assist leader
Mollie Hamilton '15 earned Honorable Mention selections.
A Look at Richard StocktonRichard Stockton College, the tournament's number one seed, enters Wednesday's contest with a 14-8 overall record and winners of seven of their last eight games. The Ospreys are led offensively by four double-digit scorers in Adrianna Boucher, Lexi Stasi, Chelsea James, and Keara Homan. Boucher is tops on the team with 18 points coming on four goals and a team-leading 10 assists. Stasi leads the team in goals with six and has added three assists for 15 points.
