Elmira, NY -- After falling in their season opener to No. 18 SUNY Cortland, the Elmira College field hockey team will be seeking their first win of the 2014 season this weekend when the EC women travel to both Delaware Valley College this Saturday and then DeSales University on Sunday.
Last Time OutThe Soaring Eagles are coming off an 8-0 loss to No. 18 SUNY Cortland on September 3rd.

Julie Hockenberger '18 both played a half in the cage for the Purple and Gold combined for 22 saves.
Delaware Valley CollegeSaturday's matchup will mark the first time EC will play against Delaware Valley College in college history. Delaware Valley is 0-2 this season after falling to both St. Mary's College of Maryland and Arcadia University by a single goal.
DeSales UniversitySimilar to the Delaware Valley matchup, their Sunday's contest against DeSales Univeristy marks the first meeting between the two teams. DeSales is 1-1 this season with a win against Albright College and a loss to Moravian College.
Looking AheadFollowing their weekend's games, Elmira will host Susquehanna University in EC's home opener this Tuesday September 9th at 4:30 p.m. at Elmira's Murray Athletic Center. The last time these two teams met was on September 10, 2012, a game Susquehanna won, 5-1.
