Live CoverageCoverage
Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College field hockey team welcomes the Crusaders of Susquehanna University to the Murray Athletic Center tomorrow for a non-conference tilt at 4:30 p.m. Tomorrow's contest will be Elmira's first on their home field.

Last Time Out
In the final game of their weekend road trip, the Soaring Eagles dropped a 5-0 contest to DeSales University on Sunday. EC wrapped-up their season-opening three-game road trip with an 0-3 record, the other losses coming to No. 18 Cortland State and Delaware Valley College.

A Career First
EC's lone goal against Delaware Valley College was scored by one of the Purple and Gold's several newcomers, Alyssa Mariano '18. Mariano scored early on in the second half of play after fighting through a crowd of people in front of the cage and finishing her shot past the goalie.

Dynamic Duo
The Crusaders have scored 11 goals this season, eight of them coming from the sticks of Emily Novakovich '17 and Katherine Millett '16. The two have each scored four goals on the season and have also tallied a combined three assists, two for Novakovich and one for Millett. The tandem was in full force against Dickinson on Saturday, as only Millett and Novakovich were involved with the scoring plays. Millett scored two goals and assisted on the other, while Novakovich scored the third goal and assisted on Millett's first goal.

Series History
Elmira has not had much success against Susquehanna University in the past, losing all four of the previous contests. Last year's 5-1 Susquehanna victory marked the first meeting between the Soaring Eagles and the Crusaders since 2010.
