Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College men's ice hockey team hits the road for a second straight Tuesday night matchup against a SUNYAC opponent. EC takes on SUNY Potsdam tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Maxcy Ice Arena.
Another ComebackThe Soaring Eagles came from behind to defeat SUNY Geneseo on Friday for their second comeback win in as many tries. EC erased a 1-0 first-period deficit with three unanswered goals over the next period and a half of play to take a commanding 3-1 lead and held on for the 3-2 win. Friday's win marked the first time in 2014-15 that the Purple and Gold came out victorious while trailing following the first period of play.

He scored three goals and added two assists, taking home ECAC West Co-Player of the Week honors.
Scouting PotsdamThe Bears have struggled over the last month, going 1-5-1 in their last seven games. Potsdam has three players in double-digit points with Ken Simon leading the way with 14. Simon and Todd Thomas are tied for the team lead with 10 assists while Matt Thompson is tops with six goals. The Bears will need to be wary of EC's eighth-ranked power-play unit as Potsdam leads the nation in penalty minutes at 19.6 per game.
