Elmira, NY -- The Elmira College men's ice hockey team continues their ECAC West Conference schedule this Friday, January 30th when the Soaring Eagles visit the Flower City to face Nazareth College for a 7:00 p.m. tilt.

In game one against Manhattanville, the Soaring Eagles surrendered two goals in the final 11 seconds, resulting in a 3-1 loss. Alexander Taulien '17 has been a steady contributor for Elmira this season, specifically on the power play. Taulien has scored six power-play goals, putting him in a six-way tie for fourth place in the nation in power-play goals.
Scouting NazarethThe Golden Flyers enter the weekend series with an 8-7-3 overall record and a 4-2-2 mark in ECAC West play. Nazareth saw their three-game win streak come to an end last Saturday night when the Golden Flyers were edged at home by No. 15 Hobart College, 2-1. Leading the charge this season offensively for Nazareth has been second-year standout Ben Blasko, who has amassed 18 points on two goals and a team-high 16 assists. Defensively, Ed Zdolshek continues to shine between the pipes, logging 392 saves while posting a .918 save percentage.
