Brockport, NY -- The Elmira College men's lacrosse team (1-2) fell 16-1 to the College of Brockport (2-4) today.
Anthony LaRusso '17 scored EC's lone goal while
Wyatt Katsos '17 made 18 saves in the net for the Soaring Eagles.
The Golden Eagles scored the game's first four goals in the first quarter to take a 4-0 lead. As no goals were scored in the second quarter, Brockport's 4-0 lead would hold heading into the locker room for halftime.
Brockport scored four more goals in the third period before LaRusso would receive a pass from
TJ Leach '16 and scored to trail the Golden Eagles, 8-1. Brockport's offense proved too strong for EC as the Golden Eagles would close the game off with eight more goals to win, 16-1.
Cameron Prior '17 replaced Katsos in the net with a little under five minutes remaining in the game.
The Purple and Gold will compete next on March 21st when the EC men travel to Ithaca College for the Soaring Eagles first Empire 8 Conference game of the season.
