ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The 2017 regular season came to a close this afternoon for the Elmira College women's soccer team, who fell on the road to the Golden Flyers of Nazareth College, 8-0.
Nazareth held a 28-to-5 lead in shots and a 20-to-4 advantage in shots on goal. Corner kick chances were also in favor of the No. 5 regionally-ranked Golden Flyers, 10-1. Seven different players registered goals for Nazareth, six of whom scored their first goals of the year. All eight of Nazareth's tallies came in the first 35 minutes of the first half.

Meghan Ray '19 made her second collegiate start and made five saves in 20 minutes of action. EC senior
Rachel Grampp '18 came in for relief duty and registered seven saves in the final 69:30 of action.
