DELHI, N.Y. -- The Elmira College men's cross country team earned a third-place finish at the Bronco Invitational on Wednesday evening, as freshman
Owen Rose '22 paced the Soaring Eagles with a time of 17:59.30 in the five-kilometer race.
Rose's time earned the freshman an 11th-place finish to lead the Purple and Gold.
Jeremy Best '19 crossed the finish line in a career-best 5K time of 19:13.20.
Jarritt Himmelreich '19 clocked in at 20:01.00, which was good for a 27th place finish.
Matt Straney '20 (22:33.20) and
Jonathan Muller (22:35.20) finished back-to-back in 45th and 46th, respectively.
Justin Gillule '19 rounded out the scoring for the Purple and Gold with a time of 23:47.40, finishing 49th.
