Kaylee Gill '22. Due to unplayable field conditions, the game was concluded at halftime on a rainy Saturday afternoon in Pine Valley.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Pioneers got on the board in the 9
th minute of play as Sydney Scaccia found the back of the net to put Utica ahead 1-0. The goal would go down as the game-winner on the afternoon. Nearing the end of the first quarter, Utica got back on the board as the score remained 2-0 headed into the second.
At the 22:49 mark, Utica was awarded a penalty stroke, in which
MeganRae Burke '24 came up with an unbelievable save in a muddy goalie crease to hold the score at 2-0. Utica would go on to score a pair of goals over the next four minutes to increase their lead to 4-0 at the halftime break. Due to unplayable field conditions, the game was concluded at halftime.
