WILLIAMSPORT, PA. – The Elmira College men's wrestling program recorded three top-six finishes on Saturday at the Penn College Open which was held inside Bardo Gymnasium on the campus of Penn College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Darius Green '24 notched a fourth-place finish competing in the heavyweight division at the Penn College Open and finished with a pair of victories. Green opened his day with a pin at the 3:41 mark before notching a 5-1 decision against Nicholai Brotzman from Penn College.
- Green dropped back-to-back matches to end his day, concluding with a 10-2 major decision against Lycoming's Robert West.
- Hollis Berry '25 competed at 157 pounds for the Purple & Gold and would record a sixth-place finish. Berry dropped his opening bout of the day before, responding with a pair of victories as he delivered an 8-7 decision to go along with a pin.
- Berry continued his winning streak by posting a 10-7 decision over Michael Beers from Delaware Valley. The tournament run for Berry would come to an end following a pin against Daniel Kosinski from Scranton.
- After receiving an opening round bye at 174 pounds, Bryan Stafford '26 dropped his opening bout via a pin. Stafford rebounded with an 8-2 decision and followed with a pin against Timothy Carbonaro from Scranton. Stafford's tournament would come to an end via a 22-6 technical fall by Corbin Marala from Castleton.
- The Soaring Eagles would also get a pair of individual victories at 141 pounds from Blake O'Brien '24 and Selvin Maldonado '25.
