GENESEO, N.Y. – The Elmira College field hockey program traveled to College Stadium to face nationally ranked SUNY Geneseo in an Empire 8 Conference matchup on Saturday as the Soaring Eagles dropped a 9-0 decision against the Knights.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Elmira goalkeeper Reese Bowen '27 would record 10 saves in the first quarter of the contest as the Knights took 20 shots total.
- The Knights tallied four goals in the opening quarter and followed with three more in the second quarter to take a 7-0 lead into the half. Bowen notched three saves in the second quarter as she finished the half with 13 saves for the Purple & Gold.
- Geneseo closed the scoring by adding a pair of goals in the third quarter to increase its advantage to 9-0.
- Elmira earned a penalty corner just over nine minutes into the third quarter as Talia Nash '28 would take the opportunity for the Soaring Eagles. Nicole Luther '28 would have a look following the corner for the Soaring Eagles as her shot just missed the cage.
- Bowen finished the contest with 17 saves for Elmira as she matched her career-high after stopping the same number of opportunities on Wednesday against Oswego State.
