ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Elmira College Soaring Eagles closed out its 2024 campaign with a 5-0 loss at Nazareth on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Nazareth scored just under two minutes into the game to go up 1-0. Michaela Cushman's unassisted goal was her second of the season,
Hannah Janes scored off a corner later in the first quarter. Madison Chodkowski and Lydia Coombs set up Janes' tally.
Coombs followed up her assist with a goal early in the second quarter. Chodkowski added her second assist of the game on Coombs' goal.
Already with two assists, Chodkowski picked up the Golden Flyers' fourth goal of the game. Her marker came at the 33:03 mark, just after halftime.
With under five minutes remaining in the game, Hailey Dimao scored on a penalty stroke.
Madison Fkeming '27 led the Soaring Eagles with two shots on goal while Caitlin Ehlenfield '27 and Ashlee Donahue '28 each finished with one attempt on target.
Reese Bowen '27 surrendered five goals on 15 shots.
