Darius Green '24 secured a seventh-place finish competing at heavyweight for the Soaring Eagles on the final day of the NCAA DIII Mideast Regional Tournament hosted by RIT.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Green opened his second day of competition with a consolation fifth-round matchup against Jeremy Mazzella from Ithaca College. Green scored the opening point of the bout with an escape before Mazella responded with a 3-point takedown.
- Green notched a second escape point in the bout before adding a stalling point called against Mazzella late in the third period as Mazzella would hang on for the 4-3 victory.
- In the seventh-place bout, it would be Green and Cortland's Dylan Houseknecht. Green closed his regional tournament appearance with a fall over Houseknecht at the 3:55 mark to secure a seventh-place finish.
- Green finished the tournament with a 3-2 record to go along with two victories via fall and one via a decision.
